R. Kelly Jury Selection Complete

The R. Kelly child pornography trial wrapped up it's jury selection yesterday (May 15) in Chicago. The selections became tense because both sides made accusations that the other was trying to pick jurors based on race.

The racial make up of the jury consists of eight white, and four black. The alternate group includes two Blacks, one Hispanic, and one White. Prosecutors motioned several time to have black potentials dismissed from the pool.
